Objectives:

The panel session aims to explore strategies and mechanisms for de-risking decentralized renewable energy projects to attract investment at scale. Participants will discuss challenges, share successful case studies, and propose innovative solutions to create an enabling environment for sustainable and scalable investments in the decentralized renewable energy sector.

Expected outcomes:

  • Increase awareness and understanding of the strategies and mechanisms available to de-risk projects DRE projects.
  • Collaboration and knowledge sharing among attendees form varying perspectives in the value chain.
  • Generate interest and support for DRE investments to accelerate progress toward universal energy access.
