FUNAE has been committed since 1997 to the promotion and diversification of the national energy matrix, focusing on renewable energies such as solar, wind, water and biomass. We believe that the energy transition to more sustainable sources is essential for economic growth, reducing social inequalities and combating climate change. Our aim is to ensure access to energy services in rural areas, to promote innovation and sustainability, to accelerate the transition to a green and accessible energy future for everyone. Over the years, we have consolidated our presence in out-of-net areas at national level by implementing electrification projects (mini-networks and residential solar systems), access to liquid fuels and massification of the use of clean kitchen solutions. Today, the institution is focused on the challenge of access to climate funds, which requires us to commit and strengthen our role in its management. Private sector participation as a strategic partner in the implementation of projects will be of major importance. We thank you for your valuable collaboration and strengthen our commitment to continuing to carry out projects that benefit communities.
